I met Erica at an event at the Palmer Event Center last year. I wasn't able to buy the first time I saw her work but was so excited when I came across her again at another show at the Convention Center. This time i WAS able to buy and I can't tell you how much I love my new art. THANK YOU Erica. I hope I'm able to buy #2 soon.

I was so blown away by Erica's art, that after buying one of her originals, I commissioned her to do a custom piece. She was so diligent in evaluating and studying where it was to go. What she created was absolutely wonderful. WOW!!! So glad I discovered this so very talented jewel!

We LOVE the piece we bought from Erica at the Armadillo Bazaar. We hung it three days ago before a big party and at least 25 people must have commented on it. We will definitely be using Erica for more pieces in the future--they make statements.

"AUSTIN NIGHTS" It is the rare occasion for me to come upon a situation, or a finding, that I can truly, without a doubt, classify as PERFECT.  My only hesitation may be in believing my own eyes.  "Am I seeing what I think I am?".  And that was exactly the case while I was at the 2010 Armadillo Christmas Bazaar when I stumbled into the display booth of local Austin Artist, Ms. Erica Wildman.  I couldn't take my eyes off of the huge canvas painting she titled, "Austin Nights". She saw me admiring it and told me the history she has with it.   It is one of her dearest, painted four years ago while she was living in San Francisco and missing Austin.  She called it her "baby" and had not been able to offer it up for "adoption" until now. I told her she had absolutely no idea how perfect this painting is for me.  I fell in love with it and its absolute perfection.   I had not even gone to the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar with the intent of finding a piece of art, much less THE perfect piece of art. I had a picture stored on my phone, that I was able to show her, of the room that I knew this painting was made for.  Once Erica saw it she said,  "It IS perfect, it's almost as if you commissioned me to paint this for you." And I know that was a bittersweet moment for her and we both got teary-eyed at the realization of something truly amazing, as if it were "meant to be." I love the fact that Erica has such a personal affinity with her art to see it to its new home.  She and her boyfriend personally delivered the painting to our home and took time out of her very busy Christmas schedule to visit with me and my husband. Once the painting was in the room, it was even more obvious how special it is and a testimony to Erica's incredible talent. There is absolutely no indecision on my part in caring for and loving this painting as she has.  Your "baby" is in good hands, Erica!

HIGH-FIVE to Erica for contributing an original art piece to UNITED NATIONS Girl Up fundraising auction, it was an incredible success! We were able to raise $3300 and at $5 allocated per family, 100% of all proceeds will directly impact 660 United Nations-assisted families (via UN proven programs such as Berhane Hewan in Ethiopia and Abriendo Oportunidades in Guatemala)! Erica's art is fantastic! Pictures really don't do it justice. The texture and vibrant colors can only truly be appreciated in person. She is so creative and I'm constantly amazed at how she is able to make custom pieces fit a room so perfectly. Besides being a great artist she's beautiful, caring, hilarious and one of my favorite people!

I have seen almost all of Erica's work and I continue to be more and more impressed. She continues to grow and evolve and her art is truly outstanding. I highly recommend to anyone that they view her art in person (the Web pics just don't do the pieces justice). Erica has an amazing talent for looking at a space and creating art that stands out while bringing in the surrounding environment. She's wickedly funny as well. :)

Erica is an amazing artist! Her use of color and space is truly amazing, and I love how she's able to see a space and create something perfect specifically for that room. Her paintings bring joy and peace every time I see one, and working with her is a pleasure. She's one of the most fun, vivacious people you'll ever get to meet.

Erica has amazing skills with paint and color. I bought one of her large paintings and smile every time I enter the room. If you are looking for something to jazz up a wall or bring energy to a room, do yourself a favor and check out her work.

Erica's art, most of all, is full of energy. Her work brings a dynamic to a room that is all about motion. A friend of ours came to visit and upon leaving said of her painting: there is something about that work that just makes me you want to go do something fun. You can describe her work as bold, brazenly colorful, and in the end - the word that is most apt - the word that always comes to mind is FUN! Erica's work is like that person who enlivens a room, brings the conversation to a full throttle, and sends everyone home happy....(written by my husband who is way better with words than I am).
